Xiaomi Poco M3 Pro 5G

The Poco M3 Pro 5G is an upgraded version of the Poco M3 that was launched earlier this year. This phone is also the Company’s first 5G smartphone in India. The Poco M3 Pro 5G price was Rs 13,999 for the 4 GB RAM + 64 GB internal storage option and the price of the 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage model was Rs 15,999 on the date of the launch, i.e., June 14, 2021. The phone comes in 3 colours, which are Cool Blue, Power Black, and Poco Yellow.

Display

With a 6.5 inches Full HD+ hole-punch display, The POCO M3 Pro 5G mobile comes with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The IPS LCD of the phone has a pixel density of 405 PPI and an aspect ratio of 20:9 offering its users crystal clear visuals while watching videos and playing games. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass v3 and has a refresh rate of 90 Hz. Not only this, but depending upon what is running on the phone, the display is also capable of automatically switching between different refresh rates. With a width of 75.34 mm, a thickness of 8.98 mm, and 190 g of weight, it has a 91 percent screen-to-body ratio. The smartphone also has 360-degree Ambient Light Sensors and Reading Mode 3.0.

Camera

Poco M3 Pro 5G features a triple camera set up at the rear face. It includes a 48MP f/1.79 Primary Camera and is supported by a 2MP f/2.4 Macro Camera and another 2MP f/2.4 Depth Camera. Various features supported by the rear camera are Time Burst Mode, 48MP Mode, AI Camera, AI Beautify, Movie Frame, HDR, AI Portrait Mode with bokeh and depth control, Google Lens, Night Mode, Up-to 10x Digital Zoom, Face Recognition, and Pro Colour. The smartphone also has an 8 MP f/2.0 primary camera. Along with some features of the rear camera, it has some additional features like a Movie frame, Selfie timer, Screen Soft light, Palm Shutter, and Timed burst.

Performance

To provide its users with a faster and lag-free performance while playing intense graphic games, using multiple apps, surfing the net, Poco M3 Pro 5G specifications include an Octa-core, MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor, coupled with the Mali-G57 GPU. The storage space can be easily extended up to 1 TB using a microSD card which can help you save a plethora of files be it videos, pictures, PDFs, music, etc. A massive 5000 mAh Lithium-ion polymer battery is installed within the smartphone. It is non-replaceable and comes with 18W fast charging enabling the users to use the phone for an extended period of time. The phone runs on MIUI 12.0.2 and is based on Android 11.

The smartphone comes with numerous connectivity options like 5G (the network hasn’t been rolled out in India yet), 4G, 3G, 2G, has 3.5 mm jack, Wi-Fi, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot, NFC, Bluetooth, Infrared, A-GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, BDS, and USB Type-C 2.0.
