Penta has always been promoted as a solid mid card ever since joining WWE in early 2025. He made his WWE debut on the following episode of Netflix RAW Premiere. He made an instant impact by defeating former three times WWE Tag Team Champion Chad Gable.
Penta was given an excellent chance to shine even brighter when he challenged for the WWE Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania 41. It was a Fatal 4 Way match for the said championship, where the previous champion Bron Breakker defended the title. Finn Balor and Dominik Mysterio were also in the match.

WWE on Netflix: Penta Challenges This Champion to an Intergender Match?
The Mexican professional wrestler failed to win the match as Dominik Mysterio captured the title. Dominik Mysterio won this Fatal 4 Way match to capture the WWE Intercontinental Championship. WWE maintained the 40 year old’s upper mid card status and the fans can expect to see him winning mid card titles in the near future.
The 40 year old made his WWE debut in January 2025
But winning championships is not the only goal for the Mexican professional wrestler in WWE, it seems as he wants to create more history. After WWE went PG, intergender matches are pretty much dead. Recently, Penta expressed his desire to have an intergender match against the present WWE Women’s United States Champion Chelsea Green. While attending an interview during WrestleMania 41, he said the following;

He challenged for the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania 41
“For me, it’s okay. No, no, true, Chelsea [Green] is the best. Best wrestler. I love working with her because sometimes I remember that match. Chelsea Green now [has] become a big, big Superstar. She is amazing in the ring. She is amazing outside the ring. I love working with her man. I hope soon. I am ready. I think she is ready. Let’s go.”
After WWE moved to Netflix recently, majority of the fans are expecting to see WWE going out of PG once again, and if it actually happens, we can expect to see proper intergender matches, and definitely not the ones like Rhea Ripley vs. Akira Tozawa. So Penta vs. Chelsea Green is definitely possible in WWE.
