Roxanne Perez had been one of the most impressive stars of the NXT for the last of couple of years and fans are badly waiting to see her dominating the main roster. Perez is active in WWE for nearly three years and she is one of the biggest attractions of the developmental territory of WWE right now.
Before joining WWE, Perez worked on the independent circuit for a number of years. She caught the eyes of the WWE officials after her impressive work at the Reality of Wrestling (ROW) promotion which was run by former five WCW World Heavyweight Champion and two times WWE Hall of Famer Booker T.

Speaking of WWE, the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion has always been presented as the mentor of Perez. Perez showed her love and respect towards Booker T like a father figure many times. During a recent episode of his Hall of Fame Podcast, Booker T shared praise for Perez and discussed her potential main roster debut. He said;
“I’m not going to say it’s time for the main roster, and I’m not going to say it’s not time. You know, the time is going to be when she goes there — that’s the way I look at it.” Said the wrestling legend.

“Just because I don’t want to put any pressure on Roxanne Perez, I tell all of them, when they go from NXT to the main roster, it’s just different. You’re going to be working — it’s a total, total difference between what you did on NXT and what you’ll be doing on the main roster from a global travel perspective on a regular basis. You’ve got to be ready for that.”

“So, for her, I just want her to be ready. Do I think she’s ready right now? Yeah, I think she’s ready. But I wouldn’t necessarily say, “Man, let’s pull the trigger on it right now.” Then again, I wouldn’t hesitate if I had something for her. I think when she does get to the main roster, she’s going to shock and amaze because she works so much bigger than she actually is. She rises to the level of her opponent. I just can’t wait to see it when it happens.”
Recently, Perez dropped the NXT Women’s Championship to Giulia and speculations have started to be discussed that she may now join the main roster permanently. Royal Rumble can be a potential venue for her main roster switch, similar to what Tiffany Stratton did last year. Moreover, Roxanne Perez has all the potential to be a top star of the main roster of WWE.
