WWE Netflix RAW Premiere was one hell of a show with many surprises, excellent matches, and amazing segments. One of the big surprises of the night was the debut of former TNA World Champion Penta who amazed the WWE fans by an amazing match with Chad Gable on his first night of the show.
Penta had an impressive career on the independent circuit and other top promotions like AEW and TNA Wrestling before joining WWE. He is extremely famous among wrestling fans for producing amazing matches. WWE fans are also expecting to witness greatness from the Mexican professional wrestler.

But his WWE debut also sparked some controversies as it was reported that his match and segment took more time than scheduled which forced some of the existing segments to be edited. This even frustrated some of the WWE stars. WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross recently talked about this controversy on his Grilling JR podcast;
“I was a little surprised. We had him here at AEW for a good while. Soft-spoken guy, no trouble. Hardly knew he was there until he got in the ring, and then he was phenomenal. But I was a little surprised at the hype. So what it tells me is that WWE and Triple H covet him in a significant way, where he’s gonna be in main events or semi-main events within the next year, if not sooner. But I was a little surprised.

“There’s so many guys doing that act, that bit, that routine, of the luchadores. When I hired Rey Mysterio, we didn’t have anybody that even compared to Rey, but really nobody in the business did. He was special, unique. He’s one of a kind.
“I don’t know…Penta, we had a lot of that kind of style in AEW. He was one of many that did a lot of acrobatics and flying things. He might have been the best at doing it, I’m not saying that. But he wasn’t the only one doing it, so it made it less special.

“WWE’s got a good stock of luchadores. They got several guys on the roster that have that background. Just gotta be careful of how you book him.”
The 39 year old professional wrestler is still a stranger in the WWE locker room so such issues are not very uncommon. He is one of the best in ring workers of WWE right now and fans can expect some five star matches from him in the future. It is unlikely that WWE would promote him as a main eventer but he can surely be an excellent fit for the mid card division.
