A number of huge announcements had been made on the upcoming WWE 2K25 video game as the cover photo of the Standard Edition was revealed during last Monday on RAW. Paul Heyman showed the photo to the audience; ‘The Tribal Chief’ Roman Reigns appeared on the cover photo of the WWE 2K25 video game.
The last time Roman Reigns appeared on a WWE video game cover was back in WWE 2K20 along with Becky Lynch and we all know how that game went. Surprisingly, Reigns never appeared in any other WWE video game before WWE 2K20 and WWE 2K25 is going to be the first and only WWE video game where Reigns is going to be the solo cover star.

Two additional editions had also been announced; one is the Dead Man where the Undertaker would be a big deal and it will cost $99.99. The other one is The Bloodline mode which will be available for the price of $129.99. Reigns recently spoke with CBS Sports’ Shakiel Mahjouri where he explained the importance of Bloodline in the creation of this video game;
“I’ve always tried to implement the word representation,” said Reigns. “I’ve said it on our show, I probably drilled it into Jey’s head over and over on TV because I really firmly believe in that. I think that we’ve done such a phenomenal job with everything that we’ve done over the past few years that we’re in a situation where the whole video game, WWE 2K25 is, for the first time, created around one man, around one family.

“To be able to take that Showcase, that’s a mode that we’ve had before, but to able to imprint it with the Bloodline moments and all these different…they’re ingrained with our product now.”
Reigns continued, “These are the moments, and to be able to relive them, it’s all to plan,” Roman Reigns said. “I wish I could say this all happened by accident, we just got lucky with this one. But no, man, we put in a ton of work, it’s a collaborative effort, everybody believes in what we do, and I think that’s why you see it in such an authentic light. That’s why it’s so good, because we all believe in it, we’re committed to it, the company’s committed to it, WWE 2K’s committed to it.

“So it’s just a beautiful situation for us to continue to showcase our talents, to represent our family and hopefully just build up our family name and the Samoan dynasty to a different level than ever before.”
The inclusion of the Bloodline edition and this version being the most expensive version signifies the importance of the faction. There are also opinions that the Bloodline storyline is the best wrestling storyline ever told. This whole storyline may be playable in the Bloodline edition along with some additional features.
