It has been a hot topic since Royal Rumble last Saturday that Drew McIntyre is extremely unhappy after his Royal Rumble spot. Reports also suggest that he is not happy with WWE for his recent bookings. Earlier reports suggest that McIntyre was supposed to have a main event run but he is not in the title picture ever since he started his feud with CM Punk.
McIntyre received quite from booking in 2024 as he defeated Seth Rollins to win the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 40, however, Damian Priest immediately cashed in his Money in the Bank contract on him and took the title away from him. He also won the Money in the Bank ladder match, but once again he failed to cash it in as CM Punk cost him the opportunity.

Wrestling Legend Thinks Drew McIntyre is Overreacting; "You Can't Expect Everything To Be Perfect"
He continued his feud with CM Punk after losing the opportunity to cash in his contract successfully and since then he has been totally out of the World title picture. Last Saturday he entered the men's Royal Rumble match where he was eliminated by Damian Priest; the same person who cashed in MITB on him at WrestleMania 40 after he won the World title.
This was supposed to be a WrestleMania feud building moment so the camera work had to be perfect. But the Megastar LA Knight mistakenly came in the way and the angle could not be shot properly. It angered McIntyre and reports suggest that he showed reactions over it backstage. Legendary wrestling figure Bill Apter recently talked about this incident on Sportskeeda's SmackTalk where he explained why McIntyre is overreacting;
Drew McIntyre was eliminated by Damian Priest from the Royal Rumble match
"You got so many guys in the ring. You can't expect everything to be perfect. You really can't. A lot of people are saying, 'Well, this is probably a storyline.' We don't know if it is or isn't. It could be to set up Drew and LA Knight. But the thing is that nothing is perfect in a match where you have so much that can go wrong. So, Drew being pis*ed? He is a very volatile personality when he gets upset."

Drew McIntyre was reportedly angry at LA Knight after Royal Rumble
"I don't know how Drew McIntyre has any juice at all. Thank God. If Drew McIntyre was not a great performer, he would have been future endeavored already. The only thing that keeps him relevant is his performance. They've done nothing for this guy creatively. Zero, bro, nothing."
Reports also suggest that the Scottish Psychopath is not satisfied with his recent bookings in WWE. But there are also reports that he is not angry anymore and is looking forward to his future in WWE. As of now, Drew McIntyre is out of the world title picture from WrestleMania 41 and he will face Damian Priest at the Grandest Stage of Them All. Hopefully he gets into consistent World title pictures in 2025.
