Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan are having a long feud for the Women’s World Championship and it had been one of the best feuds of 2024. Morgan had been amazing as a heel World Champion and she has done fantastic job so far. Ripley on the other hand was also pretty good as a babyface challenger.
The feud was stretched longer than expected due to unwanted injuries and it may finally meet its final consequences at the RAW Netflix premier where Morgan would defend her World title against Ripley for one last time. It is being expected to be the final chapter of this feud but it can continue even longer.
Wrestling Legend Explains Why Liv Morgan Deserves to Win World Championship Feud over Rhea Ripley
The only reason some fans are expecting this feud to continue even longer is because of the lack of depth in the women’s division of Monday Night RAW. There are not enough main eventers who could step up to challenge Morgan or Ripley as a worthy challenger for the World title on the main event segment.
Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan had an excellent feud in 2024
But who should get the final laugh at the end of this feud? Wrestling legend Vince Russo believes it should be Morgan because Ripley is ‘super over’ with the fans and she does not need this championship as much as Morgan does. Speaking on “WrestleBinge” podcast recently, Russo explained;
Rhea Ripley is Scheduled to Challenge Liv Morgan for the Women's World title at Netflix RAW premier
“Rhea Ripley is super over with the people, she don’t need the belt. Liv does, that belt and that title really helps Liv. Rhea Ripley will remain over whether or not she wins the title, she doesn’t need the title. They just need to protect her in this match. I think — I mean, they should keep the title on Liv.”
There are even rumors that this feud could even go on until WrestleMania 41. But that could be a little boring monotonous as this feud has already been quite long. With Royal Rumble edging near, it should not be very difficult for WWE to find a new and worthy contender for the Women’s World Championship. Bringing someone from Smackdown will not be a bad idea either.
