WrestleMania 41 is looming in but there is not enough excitement prior to show, as there should be. A couple of matches have already been set for the show as the World Heavyweight Champion Gunther is scheduled to defend his title against Jey Uso and Charlotte Flair is set to challenge Tiffany Stratton for the WWE Women’s Championship.

Both Charlotte Flair and Jey Uso won their respective Royal Rumble match matches and decided to go for the mentioned titles. But ever since Charlotte Flair returned and was instantly rewarded with the Royal Rumble victory along with WrestleMania 41, there had been massive controversies since she remained inactive for a long time.

WrestleMania 41: WWE Women’s Division Unhappy with Bookings Prior to The Biggest Event of The Year!

The rest of the women’s division is also suffering from weak bookings. The majority of the women of WWE are struggling to receive regular bookings. Recently, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select was asked whether there is growing frustration among the women’s division due to poor bookings. Here is how SRS reacted to this question;

"This is not a new thing. It's nowhere near the Royal Rumble 2022 level. Royal Rumble 2022 level, I can only compare to a few different things. The Fiend and Seth Rollins night [at Hell in a Cell 2019] was one of them, where I had people contact me. Then a COVID era situation where people at the PC said, 'Don't talk to dirt sheets', and a bunch of people said, 'They ain't gonna tell me who the f**k to talk to', and then talked to me.

WrestleMania 41 is set for April 18 and April 19

“Royal Rumble 2022 was so bad that I developed sources because of how bad it was booked. This is nowhere near that, but there has been a situation where a women's WWE performer has reached out to me and said, 'Dude, can you find out if I'm listed internally as a heel or a babyface', and I'm like, 'Damn, okay'.

“I know there have been some 'Mania pitches that have been rejected because people are, like, token tag matches aren't something they want to do. They want things put on a more even plane in the women's division. The contracts are going up, the viewership is adjusted accordingly for when women are on-screen. It's not a sideshow or anything like that, it's a part of the show. You're adding more titles, add more matches, all that stuff."

Sapp also noted; "There's a lot of people that have been parked. For example, I'm not going to say Natalya is frustrated, [but] they signed Natalya, they wanted to keep Natalya, they had creative plans for Natalaya, and then what's Natalya done since then? Hasn't done anything, hasn't been on NXT, hasn't been doing anything."

"A lot of the men not only have one thing going on, they've got a lot of different things going on, and that's just not the way it's been for the women. I don't know if that's a Triple H thing or what." Concluded Sean Ross Sapp on the present situation of the women’s division of WWE prior to WrestleMania 41.

Triple H is actually trying to reshape the women’s division like he introduced two new Women’s mid card titles for the first time on the main roster of WWE. But the issue remained the same; lack of proper booking. When they desperately needed good mid cards for their new women’s division, they released Blair Davenport and Sonya Deville who could have been excellent fits for the women’s division. The story of the Tag Team division is even worse. As of now, the picture of the women’s division looks really weak prior to WrestleMania 41.
