WWE collaborated with Netflix recently and made their OTT last Monday through the mentioned platform. The premiere of Netflix RAW was an excellent PLE like show which featured some actioned packed matches with top line up like Roman Reigns and Drew McIntyre.
The show also starred some returning legends like The Undertaker, The Rock, and Hulk Hogan. The Rock and Taker were greeted by the fans in the crowd with open arms but surprisingly, Hulk Hogan was booed terribly. This negative reaction of the fans to Hulkster has been a matter of discussion for a lot of wrestling personalities throughout this week.

Taker’s appearance felt more like a cameo who appeared after the Women’s World Championship match to show respect towards the new Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley. But why did the Dead Man receive cheers from the crowd and not Hulk Hogan? WWE Hall of Famer Eric Bischoff recently spoke on his “Wrestling Time Machine” podcast where he explained the possibilities;

“I think the heat he got was a lot more because he was front and center with Trump. And in response, people are gonna say yeah, what about Undertaker? First of all, Undertaker didn’t come out and cut a promo. Undertaker rode in on a motorcycle, did a lap, and said goodbye. It’s a different scenario.
“Yes, ‘Taker interviewed Donald Trump. Taker makes no bones about the fact that he is a conservative, but Undertaker wasn’t out there in his full gimmick, campaigning for Kamala Harris or Donald Trump in this case.” Said the former WCW boss.

The Phenom announced his retirement a number of years ago and he only appears on special occasions nowadays. Before the Netflix RAW Premiere, he shocked everyone at WrestleMania 40 when he appeared to take down The Rock to help Cody Rhodes.
The Rock’s appearance and babyface turn were also quite controversial since all the angles he had with Cody Rhodes throughout 2024 are now totally pointless. Everything was definitely done to promote his big WrestleMania match, since Rock was never 100% confirmed for WrestleMania 41, they should not have promote it this much. The Final Boss is set to leave for Moana reshoot at the time of WrestleMania 41 according to reports so he is pretty much out of the show.
