Which is The Best Tag Team in Wrestling History? Opinion Shared by JBL

Bradshaw and Farooq's tag team; the APA was definitely one of the tag teams of their time but was it the best Tag Team of all time? Bradshaw recently shared his opinion on which one is the best Tag Team of all time in professional wrestling history. Speaking on "Something to Wrestle" Podcast, Bradshaw claimed that The Road Warriors was the best ever tag team in wrestling history;

JBL had been a tag team legend before moving to singles career

"No, not even close, and I don't think there's a second place. I mean those guys, they set the tone for everything. You know, the people try to copy the Road Warriors; they were first. It's kind of like going back and saying, 'Hey, is Jesse Owens the greatest track guy of all time? Is Roger Banister is the greatest miler of all time.'

JBL believes The Road Warriors are the best tag team ever

"It's kind of like going back and saying, 'Well, no, there are guys that have run a lot faster now. But their place in history is assured because they were first and they were historic.' The Road Warriors are historic and first. There was nothing like the Road Warriors. Everybody wanted to work with those guys. You know, they were stiff, they were big, and they didn't sell a lot. Who cared? You drew a ton of money with those guys."

The Road Warriors was one of the most successful tag teams in professional wrestling history. Throughout the 80s and 90s, they won loads of Tag Team championships from multiple top promotions like WWE and NWA. This legendary Tag Team had been inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2011. Unfortunately, none of the members of The Road Warriors are alive.
