Vivo has launched a Generation-V smartphone with a mid-price range and a new model giving tough competition to smartphones with a similar price range.

Vivo V50 has a 6.77-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness up to 4500 nits providing a vivid and crisp visual experience. IP68 and IP69 ratings protect the deceiver from dust and water. V50 has a full-screen round edge display like its previous model with a classy look.

The smartphone offers AI features including AI Erase 2.0, Live Cutouts, AI Photo Enhance, etc. V5 is powered by Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset for a fast and powerful performance suitable for multitasking and gaming.

Vivo is known as a Camera phone and V 50 is not an exception that has a dual camera setup with a selfie camera. The Main camera is 50 MP along with a 50MP wide-angle ultrawide camera for capturing landscape. There is a 50 MP front camera ideal for shooting videos and taking high-quality selfies.

V 50 offers ZEISS multifocal portraits with different portrait modes along with Wedding portrait studios. There is a 6,000 mAh battery capacity in the phone that supports up to 90W fast charging for more entertainment time for customers for a limited time of charging.

Storage and Price

V5 comes in three storage options with a fixed RAM of 8 GB in all and the price varies according to the storage. The 8GB+128GB combination will cost around Rs.34999 in Indian market. 8GB+256GB and 12GB+512GB will cost around Rs.36999, and Rs.40999 respectively.

Three color variants are available including Starry Night, Titanium Grey and Rose Red. The sale goes Live on 25th February 2025 and customers can pre-book the phones today onwards in India.
