WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus is considered one of the pioneers of the present day women’s division of WWE. She worked in the promotion since the mid Attitude Era and she mostly played a heel character in WWE during her early career. One of her earliest work was working with Test and Albert as their valet.
One of her earliest works in the promotion that gave her recognition from the fans was a storyline with the McMahon family. She was a part of Vince McMahon’s cheating angle with her wife Linda McMahon and Trish played the convicted part of this story. At first, Trish was the guilty but later she came out to be the victim.

It was the first angle of Trish where she got the opportunity to work with multiple McMahons including Linda McMahon. Recently she spoke with Inside The Ropes where she was asked about her experience working with Linda McMahon and Trish revealed how it was. Here is what she had to say;

“She’s amazing. What a wonderful lady. We did a speaking engagement together, so we had a chance to spend the day together. She was so sweet because she saw me come in, she saw me and Stephanie have our match together, and she embraced it, like, ‘You girls go get them.’

“She’s like my wrestling almost, and she understood the story, she knew the assignment. And she was great at doing her character work. She really took it serious. She was really great, and totally into every moment and wanted to make sure the moments were great. It was great working with her.”
This storyline was more of a stepping stone for Trish’s WWE career as she was mostly presented as one of the top stars of the women’s division of WWE in her latter career. She was one of the top stars of the Ruthless Aggression Era and she is also remembered to be a seven times WWE Women’s Champion. She announced her retirement in 2006 but the 49 year old returned on various occasions for sporadic appearances.
