It seems like the fans can't see John Cena anymore as he has already announced his retirement and he is expected to retire from in ring action at WrestleMania 41. Last year at the Money in the Bank event, Cena made this heart breaking announcement that he would be retiring by 2025 and his retirement tour has already began at the Netflix RAW premiere.
Cena was already reported to appear at the Netflix RAW premiere to begin his retirement tour. At first he addressed the rumours of his potential 17th world title and said that it is not possible anymore. But later he changed his mind and he announced participation in the Royal Rumble match.

He expressed his urge to win the Royal Rumble match so that he can challenge for a World title at WrestleMania 41. The retirement of John Cena still continues and the Chief Content Officer of WWE Triple H addressed it during his recent appearance on the “SI Media” podcast. He also shared massive praise for the 16 times WWE World Champion;

“John is of a different mindset for sure, most disciplined guy I’ve ever met … I think he’ll always be a part of WWE. I think it’s in his DNA. I think he’ll always do stuff with us. I think he’ll always be a part of it, but in-ring, as a performer, I think when he is done, he is done. What the year will look like, we’re still figuring it out obviously.

Cena is heavily rumored to win the Royal Rumble match this year. If he manages to win the Royal Rumble match in 2025, he will be the second ever wrestler after Stone Cold Steve Austin to win 3 Royal Rumble matches. There are news coming out that The Rock may not be available for WrestleMania 41. This increases the possibility of John Cena vs. Cody Rhodes at the Grandest Stage of Them All for the Undisputed WWE Championship.
