DX was one of the biggest attractions of the Attitude Era which was the most famous time period of WWE. Triple H was one of the most valuable members of the faction. The other members of the mentioned faction were Shawn Michaels, Chyna, X-Pac, Billy Gunn, and Road Dogg. There were other members who had short runs with it.
Shawn Michaels was the first leader of DX and later Levesque led it after The Heart Break Kid was out of action in 1998. But who was the biggest name of the first run of DX? Most of the fans would name Shawn Michaels or Levesque, but according to Levesque, the real MVP was Chyna.
Triple H Reveals Who Was The Real MVP of DX
Chyna is widely considered the most successful female wrestler in professional wrestling history. She achieved many successes which is nearly impossible for others to achieve. One of the biggest achievements of her career was winning the WWE Intercontinental Championship. Triple H recently spoke to the Roommates Show where she explained why Chyna was the real MVP of DX;

“On DX, I would say Shawn, but there is part of me that would say Chyna. Shawn, only because, at the time when we first started and Shawn was in DX with me, I was learning so much from him on a day-to-day basis about the business. Chyna was the glue that held that together. If you look at the crew, I’m like the guy that doesn’t drink or do any other stuff, so I’m easy to deal with.

“Shawn is a mess. Road Dogg is a mess. X-Pac is a mess. Billy is a mess. The glue that sort of held that all together is Chyna because she kept everybody in line. There is only so much shit I can tell them and control them before they’re like, ‘F off,’ and we get in a fight about it. Nobody is going to give her a hard time, so whatever she says goes. She is kind of the glue there,” concluded Triple H.
Chyna left WWE in 2001 never to return to the promotion again. After DX reunited again in 2006, a lot of fans expected Chyna to make a sensational return to reunite with her former partners. But that never happened, and unfortunately, the 9th Wonder of the World passed away in 2016 at the age of 46.
