There has not been much excitement prior to the Elimination Chamber event which was the final PLE of WWE before their biggest event of the year; WrestleMania. Only four matches were set for the show; among them, two were men’s and women’s Elimination Chamber marches. The outcomes of the matches had been quite predictable, however, there had been some big shockers.
John Cena was heavily favored to win the men’s Elimination Chamber match, CM Punk remained the second favorite. These two were the final two of the men’s Chamber match, and ultimately, Rollins attacked Punk after his elimination from the match, and Cena took the advantage of the situation by locking him in the STF submission, Punk passed out after getting locked in and Cena was addressed the winner of the match.

After the match, Cody Rhodes came out to congratulate Cena personally as his opponent for WrestleMania 41 is pretty much set. The Rock appeared next to confront Cody Rhodes during this epic face off and demanded an answer from Cody. He already announced that he wanted Cody’s soul by the end of Chamber.

Cody not only declined to give his soul to The Rock but also threw the F word on The People’s Champion. John Cena looked quite amazed by this announcement and he hugged Cody as a sign of gratitude. And then, it happened; the moment that the fans had been waiting to see for more than fifteen years.
John Cena finally turned heel. He shocked the entire world when he attacked Cody Rhodes and delivered a massive beat down on him. Cody was totally busted open after this beat down that nobody saw coming. The fans were left in utter shock and complete disbelief.

This segment was definitely ground breaking and it will definitely change the industry forever. This is going to be the first time John Cena will enter a WrestleMania as a heel, and that is also the main event of the show. Finally, the excitement for WrestleMania 41 will reach sky after the biggest heel turn of the century.
But was it a perfectly booked segment? Questions were raised with Travis Scott becoming a part of this segment who had absolutely nothing to do here. The majority of fans somehow felt that the involvement of Travis Scott ruined the segment at a point. This should have been a segment of three of the biggest men of the industry, what was Travis Scott’s role here? Moreover, the main event segment of Elimination Chamber 2025 will be written in the history books forever for being one of the most important segments in WWE history.
