Liverpool may have been one of the most dominant sides of Europe this season with they are leading the tables of both Premier League and UEFA Champions League, their star Right back Trent Alexander-Arnold is still keen on moving to Real Madrid.
This has been the top transfer news for quite a long time that the Spanish Champions are desperate to land the English international at any cost. But it may not cost them a single penny as his Liverpool contract expires with the end of this season and it does not look like there is going to be any settlements from the two sides.
Trent Alexander-Arnold To Real Madrid Transfer Saga: Arne Slot Makes his Statement Clear
Alexander-Arnold may not be the only star that is potentially leaving Liverpool at the end of this season as both Mohamed Salah and Virgil Van Dijk’s contracts are also in quite dilemma. There are reports, however, that both of these legendary players may extend their contract soon, but Trent Alexander-Arnold’s future remains highly doubtful.
According to reports, Real Madrid made a bid of £20 million for the 26 year old but Liverpool rejected the bid and it seems like he is not leaving before the end of this season. Liverpool boss Arne Slot was asked about the present situation of Alexander-Arnold during a recent press conference where the Dutch manager responded by saying;
Trent Alexander-Arnold is a life long Liverpool fan
"If it would destabilize players at Liverpool if other people talk about them, then we would really have a problem," Slot said. "It is one of the biggest clubs in the world so it happens so many times for our players! There were some talks about our players in the last six months and I don't think that destabilized them at all.
Trent Alexander-Arnold is heavily rumored to join Real Madrid after this season
"I can tell you that [Alexander-Arnold] is playing on Sunday. Hopefully he brings the same performances as the last half-year. Everyone can see how much he wants to win here. He is fully committed to us." Concluded Slot.

Slot may be trying to make the environment liter for the English international around Merseyside but his future with the Reds remains highly uncertain. Replacing such a world class talent might be very difficult for any team but Liverpool’s 21 year old Northern Irish Right Back Conor Bradley is stepping up to the fill the boots and he has also shown great prospects.
