This year, the men’s Royal Rumble match has all the potential to be the best Royal Rumble match in terms of everything. The most star studded Rumble match to date is still considered the Rumble of 1992. The best and the most entertaining Rumble match is widely believed to be the Rumble of 2001.

Men’s Rumble of 2025 has the potential to surpass both Rumble 1992 and 2001 in terms of star power and quality. This year, the Rumble match of men is going to feature the likes of Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, CM Punk, Drew McIntyre, John Cena, and there are rumors that wrestlers like Randy Orton and even The Rock can feature in the Rumble match.

Tommy Dreamer Thinks This Wrestler Has No Chance in Royal Rumble Unless He Turns Heel

John Cena presently stands as the favorite to win the Rumble match but there are more big names like Sami Zayn and Rey Mysterio who will feature in the match, despite they are not considered favorites.

ECW Original Tommy Dreamer had an idea of a potential World Heavyweight Championship match between Jey Uso and Sami Zayn, but he also thinks Sami has no chance of winning the Rumble unless he turns heel. Speaking on "Busted Open After Dark," Dreamer explained;

Tommy Dreamer is an ECW Original

"I also don't know where he would go unless good ol' Mr. Yeet [Jey Uso] beats [World Heavyweight Champion] GUNTHER Saturday night, then YEET, Sami Zayn WrestleMania match."

"That could be a thing. Which is I guess why we watch 'Monday Night Raw' and professional wrestling, because of this episodic television of where we can go. We all have our booking decisions, we all have our booking minds. That's what we like to do, fantasy book for this stuff." Concluded the former ECW Champion Tommy Dreamer.

Tommy Dreamer thinks Sami Zayn has no chance in the Royal Rumble match

There are reports that Sami Zayn may turn heel by the end of 2025. Reports even suggest that Sami can turn heel at any point of this year and he can start a huge rivalry with the Bloodline. This is definitely going to be one hell of a feud but can WWE afford to turn Sami Zayn heel at this point? Specially after everything he did while working as a babyface? It all depends on how WWE books his heel turn.
