Paul Heyman is widely regarded as the Wiseman of WWE and his contributions in the Bloodline storyline is also massive. Recently, the Wiseman of WWE explained who is one of the most hateable heels in the wrestling right now. Heyman named the former WWE United States Champion Logan Paul as one of the best heels of modern day wrestling.

Paul first appeared in WWE back in 2021. After making some non wrestling appearances, he started working in the ring from 2022. He had been a concrete part timer as wrestling was never been his only source of income. But WWE has always presented him as an upper mid card and he even had a 273 day reign as WWE United States Champion.

But his part time status made him one of the worst champions ever. In such a long title reign, he only had two title defenses. It was another reason he could generate heat easily. Speaking on the Impaulsive Podcast on Logan Paul, Paul Heyman explained why Logan was one of the best hateable heels of WWE right now;

“You said before, no one has chanted at you, ‘You deserve it. Now, having seen how hard you worked to get into the ring with Roman Reigns and the elevation of your understanding of this industry into getting into the ring with Roman Reigns, because you could have made the biggest star in the entire industry, especially at that moment, let alone now, not look as good if you weren’t the proper dance partner.”

Paul Heyman was one of the key figures of ECW

“Having witnessed how much you deserve it, my first thing that I would say to you, if we’re sitting in that little cubbyhole I’ve created for myself in gorilla is, ‘Then you know you’re doing your job right. If they start to appreciate what you do, if they start to appreciate how good you are, if they start to appreciate what you do bring to the table, then you’re not presenting yourself as a villain in a great enough fashion that they’re ignoring all that it takes for you to be that villain.

“You’re presenting yourself as one of the truly hateable villains in this industry, to such a degree that they ignore what it takes for you to be you. That’s a compliment to you, that’s a compliment to your body of work right now. I would never look for that. In fact, as a villain, as a heel, if I’m out there, and I’m in the middle of driving that point home, and they go, ‘You deserve it,’ I would do everything I can do just get on that person’s nerves.” Paul Heyman concluded.
