Even if someone is not familiar with professional wrestling, he or she can easily name The Undertaker; he is such a popular figure and the name describes professional wrestling in many aspects. Widely regarded as The Dead Man; he dominated the world of professional wrestling for more than three decades.
But what if The Phenom would have moved to UFC during his prime? It would definitely be a huge loss for WWE and professional wrestling but could he succeed in UFC? A number of professional wrestlers were seen moving to UFC previously and some of them even earned massive success in the mentioned field.

The same question was asked by WWE Hall of Famer Bubba Ray Dudley directly to the Undertaker when the seven times WWE World Champion featured on his ‘Busted Open Radio’ Podcast. Here is what ‘The Demon of The Death Valley’ said in response;
The Undertaker had been one of the biggest legends of professional wrestling
Honestly, this is what a lot of people don’t know. UFC is coming up big at this point. They’re growing. If I had an amateur wrestling background. There is a good chance I would have tested those waters.” Said the Hall of Famer regarding a potential UFC career that he never moved to.
The Undertaker is a seven times WWE World Champion
He continued, “I felt like I would have been able to get my stand up on point. I have no idea, I might get my ass smashed. At this time, you have to understand the immense pressure that I’m under. I have a family. If I had an amateur background, a base, something to base my whole thing off of, I probably would have tested those waters.”

The Dead Man may not have moved to UFC but there are wrestlers moved to the platform from WWE and earned massive success. The biggest such example had been ‘The Beast Incarnate’ Brock Lesnar who has excellent record in the UFC. But there are also examples of failure like CM Punk whose UFC was a massive failure.
