Patole demands the resignation of Fadnavis from the Home Ministry due to the rise in crimes in Maharashtra that shows government failure. Fadnavis acknowledged the stabbing incident as a very serious issue but added not to blame Mumbai unsafe for it.

“I think Mumbai is the safest among mega cities in the country. It is true that some incidents take place sometimes, and they must be taken seriously. But to say that Mumbai is unsafe due to such incidents is not right,” Mr. Fadnavis told reporters.
