Sheamus Wants To Create History at Saturday Night’s Main Event By Breaking This ‘Curse’
But there is a championship that he is yet to win in WWE, and that is the prestigious WWE Intercontinental Championship which is preventing him from becoming a Grand Slam Champion. But this Saturday at the Saturday Night’s Main Event, he has a chance to become a Grand Slam Champion since he will be challenging Bron Breakker for the mentioned title.
Sheamus never won the WWE Intercontinental Championship
The Celtic Warrior recently spoke on The Masked Man Show where he explained how badly he wants to win the WWE Intercontinental Championship by breaking this ‘curse.’ He said; “It definitely feels like a curse at this stage, but one I want to break at Saturday Night’s Main Event. I’ll do everything I can to break it, to become WWE’s first-ever Ultimate Grand Slam champion… That’s where I want to be, man. That’s my goal.
“It’s been my goal for five years to hold that title, and I keep coming really, really close, whether it’s singles matches with Gunther, triple threats with Drew in there, and the triple threat at Survivor Series. I’ve come so close every single time.” Concluded the former four times WWE World Champion.
