The feud between Seth Rollins and CM Punk started as soon as Punk joined WWE in November 2023. It was reported that the plans were set for a dream match between the duo for WrestleMania 40. But Punk got injured and the match had to be postponed. It could not be booked any time soon due to multiple injury issues.
The first match between the duo was booked at the Netflix RAW Premiere. It was the main event of the night and it was indeed one of the best matches of the show. Punk was victorious in this match as 'The Best in the World' continued his dominant run. Instantly, demand from the fans started to be raised for a potential rematch between this iconic duo.
Seth Rollins is Not Done With CM Punk Yet, Another Match Possibly Edging Near
It looks like both of these wrestlers would be participating in the Royal Rumble match so the chance of a rematch at Royal Rumble is very less. But there is Saturday Night's Main Event just before Rumble where we can definitely see this match. But why should the fans expect a rematch? Recently, Rollins spoke with Jackie Redmond of WWE where he revealed that he is not done with Punk yet;
CM Punk defeated Seth Rollins on Netflix RAW Premiere
"If it was just me, I kinda feel like I could have gotten over it, but it wasn't just me that he stabbed in the back. For no other reason than because they wouldn't leave this place [WWE] and go side with him." Rollins further criticized Punk for jumping ship while things got rough and how he had to be one of the people who tried to build things up while the "Second City Saint" actively criticized WWE from afar.
Seth Rollins and CM Punk are expected to continue their feud
"He actively wanted the place to die," he added. "He thought that would make him some sort of missing piece like he wasn't here and this thing couldn't go on without him. He thinks that it's just frozen in time and we all are in the same roles and he can just look down and talk down to everybody that was in those positions before," explained Rollins. "But I'm not a deckhand anymore, I'm the captain, I run this ship."

It was reported that this legendary duo was scheduled to meet each other at WrestleMania 41. But it was moved to Netflix RAW Premiere because WWE was giving a high value to this show. Recent reports suggest that Seth Rollins and CM Punk are not going to face each other at WrestleMania 41 as both of them are planned for different matches.
