AEW star and former AEW World Champion Saraya, who was previously active in WWE under the ring Paige has been active in AEW since September 2022. It is her third year running in the promotion and she has always been treated as a top star much like she was in WWE. She was highly valued in WWE but injury issues harmed her career a lot.
She was even forced to take in ring retirement due to a neck injury but when she returned to action she did not get to compete in WWE anymore. After her injury, she started working as a non wrestling personnel in WWE. By 2022 he was let go by the promotion. But she was already cleared to compete by this time.
Saraya Reveals Her Contract and Discusses Possibility of a Potential WWE Return
She joined AEW in September 2022 and for the last couple of years, she had been promoted as a top star of the promotion under her new ring name Saraya, which, by the way, is her real name too. She also had been the AEW World Champion once. She received regular booking from the promotion and had been involved in many different storylines.

It was reported earlier that she signed a 3 year contract with the promotion and her present contract with AEW is edging closer to its expiry. Speaking with TMZ, the former WWE star Seth the following about her present AEW contract; My contract is up with AEW in September, so I don’t know. Maybe I’ll stay with them, maybe not, I don’t know.”

She also reflected on a potential return to WWE; “Yeah, I love WWE. I appreciate everybody there. They made me. They gave me my career and I’m appreciative of that. One day, who knows. I love my time in AEW. don’t know. I’m ready to go now. It’s just trying the best way to introduce me again. I would love to go against Mercedes. I think it’s important. She ‘ended my career,’ in a way. It’s wrestling, it happens, but coming back it would be really great to face off with her.”
Paige world one of the top stars of WWE as she had been the youngest WWE Divas Champion and she also won the title for the first time on her main roster debut. She could have been a huge star in the modern day women's division of WWE, but her neck injury completely thrashed her WWE career. But she is only 32 right now and why the end of her AEW contract she will be 33. She can still dominate WWE if the promotion decides to get her back.
