Despite the growth of 5G networks in India, a lot of people still use 4G devices. That is why smartphone manufacturers are still unveiling 4G devices, aimed mostly at budget-aware users. In a new development, Korean tech giant Samsung has launched Galaxy A05s, an entry-level 4G smartphone and it does come with decent specs for the price. The device is priced below INR 15000.

The design of the new Samsung Galaxy A05s is familiar and you may not find it much different from other entry-level phones of the company. The device has a large 6.7-inch FHD+ LCD display with a teardrop notch. The absence of a punch hole does give it a dated look. The device has a Snapdragon 680 chipset inside which offers decent performance. It is not meant for serious gamers though. The memory and storage options are 6 and 128 GB, respectively. It features Samsung’s RAM Plus, which extends the device memory to 12 GB.

At the back, you get a triple camera setup and the 50-megapixel main sensor is a good performer. A 13-megapixel sensor is there at the front. The dual-sim device contains a 5,000mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging. It runs on One UI 5.1 atop Android 13. Connectivity-wise you get dual-band Wi-Fi, 4G LTE, and Bluetooth 5.1. You get it in 3 color choices- Light Violet, Black, and Light Green. While the price is INR 17,499, you can buy it for INR 14,999 on the company website.
