Every year, Samsung releases a slightly toned-down version of its flagship Galaxy S series, with the moniker of Galaxy S FE. Soon, the South Korean tech giant will unveil the S23 FE. The details of the upcoming premium smartphone have leaked online again. Of late, a promo video has surfaced online. After that, very little is left to imagine about its specs and design etc. The viral video shows the device clearly, revealing a punch-hole front sensor and triple camera sensors at the back side.
As per the updates, the upcoming Galaxy S23 FE will be launched officially on October 4th, 2023. The device will be powered by the well-known Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. However, in some regions, it will get Samsung’s in-house Exynos 2200 SoC. The recently leaked promo video shows the device with slightly thick bezels on all sides and a curved display. The screen will have a 6.4-inch Dynamic AMOLED display. The refresh rate is likely to be set at 120Hz.
Like the mainstream S23 series, the Galaxy S23 FE will have some impressive imaging chops. A 50 MP main sensor with OIS will handle most of the imaging tasks. It will also have a 12 MP telephoto lens and another 8-megapixel lens. At the front, the camera resolution will be 10 MP.
It will be running Android 13 with Samsung’s OneUI overlay on top, as expected. The company has said it will provide buyers with five years of security updates along with 4 OS updates. Running the show is a 4,500mAh battery with 25W wired charging support. The upcoming Galaxy S23 FE will be priced lower than the flagship Galaxy S23 lineup. The device may have a starting price of INR 54,999.
