Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens are two of the best friends in professional wrestling world today. Their friendship dates back to their independent circuit days where the two fellow Canadians got to know each other. Their friendship had been portrayed everywhere they worked together.
The duo made history when they defeated The Usos to win the WWE Tag Team Championships on the main event of WrestleMania 39. It was the first time when tag team titles featured on the main event of WrestleMania. They had been friends, as well as rivals. Every time the duo entered the ring together they created history.
Sami Zayn Discusses The Present Actions of Kevin Owens
After the previous WWE Draft, the duo started working on two different brands of WWE. Owens recently turned heel and Zayn is still a beloved babyface. Owens’ recent works after turning heel are really brutal and quite scary. Zayn recently talked about his best friend’s recent actions during his latest appearance on “The Five Star” podcast;
“I don’t really know what to say there, because it’s one of the rare times where Kevin and I kind of went our separate ways, and nothing really terrible happened. I just stayed on Raw, and he went to SmackDown. We were Tag Team Champions. We lost the titles. We went separate ways. Nobody turned on the other.

“No hurt feelings, as far as I know. Then, I have no reason to — I don’t really know what he’s thinking. I don’t really have time to stop and think about what he’s thinking. I see some of his actions. Do I agree with all of them? No, I understand most of them. I don’t necessarily agree with all of it, you know?

“Also, here’s the thing, I think the way it affects Kevin to see, let’s say, Cody, teaming with Roman. I don’t know if it affects him the same way when he sees me teaming with Roman. I don’t know that. Maybe it’s worse, maybe it’s better, but those are two very different relationships.”
As of now, we cannot get to see the two friends getting into any confrontations before RAW Netflix Premier or Royal Rumble. It will be interesting to see if these two wrestlers would fight each other. Owens is also expected to continue his feud with Cody Rhodes so fans cannot expect a feud between Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn in the near future.
