WWE has signed a stunning $5 billion deal with Netflix this year and from January 6th, 2025, WWE RAW will start telecasting live on Netflix. This is one of the most iconic deals that the promotion has ever signed as it also benchmarked WWE’s OTT debut. As of now, only RAW will be telecasted on Netflix.
WWE star Sami Zayn who is presently signed to Monday Night RAW is also expected to appear on Netflix every week. Sami Zayn is a former three times WWE Intercontinental Champion shared his view on this iconic deal. While speaking on “In The Kliq” Podcast, Sami Zayn shared his views on the impact of this deal;

“Honestly, it’s hard to fully articulate just how massive this move is—not just for WWE and the wrestling business, but potentially as a litmus test for the entire entertainment industry. We may not fully grasp its impact for another five or ten years, when moves like this become more commonplace and people look back and say, ‘You know what? WWE saw where things were headed.'”
“I genuinely believe that will be the case. You can already see how fans have shifted from cable television to Netflix and other streaming services over the years. This is a huge step, and WWE has always had a knack for going all out when it matters.”
“When we’re debuting to a new audience, you know they’re going to pull out all the stops. Look at January 6—they’ve already announced CM Punk vs. Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns vs. Solo Sikoa for the Ula Fala to determine the real Tribal Chief. Both of those matches could headline WrestleMania, but instead, they’re happening on Raw for the Netflix premiere. That shows you just how big this deal is.”

This match is also rumored to be the main event of this iconic night.
There are also big attractions that had already announced as Logan Paul has announced his return on Netflix RAW premier. “The Original Tribal Chief” Roman Reigns has challenged Solo Sikoa in a Tribal Combat match which is also going to be a huge match. This match is expected to be the show starter. Some legends are also expected to make their returns. Moreover, Netflix RAW premier looks to be an epic show.
