S23 One UI 7 Beta: Samsung has officially rolled out One UI 7, its new custom skin on top of Android 15. The new release was unveiled during the Galaxy Unpacked event on 22nd January 2025, as part of the announcement of the Galaxy S25 series. Although the new flagship devices ship with One UI 7 out of the box, existing Galaxy devices will start getting the update in stages. A tweet on X (formerly Twitter) by a user named CID announced, "S23 One UI 7 Beta opening soon."

Beta Program Expansion

December 5, 2024: Samsung began testing One UI 7 with a beta program on the Galaxy S24 series in some regions, such as the US, UK, Germany, Korea, and India.
March 5, 2025: The beta program was extended to other devices like the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 in India, Korea, the UK, and the US.
Later in March 2025: The beta program will be rolled out to the Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy Tab S10 series, and Galaxy A55.

Stable Update Release

Samsung has confirmed the rollout of One UI 7 in its stable version beginning in April 2025, possibly on April 15. The Galaxy S24 series will be the first to receive the stable update. Subsequently, other phones such as the Galaxy Z Fold 6, Z Flip 6, and S23 series will also receive the update, but Samsung has not yet provided a specific order.

Eligible Devices for One UI 7

Although the complete list of eligible devices awaits, Samsung announced the following handsets will see One UI 7:

Galaxy S25 Series: It comes pre-loaded with One UI 7.
Galaxy S24 Series: Beta began in December 2024; stable update in April 2025.
Galaxy Z Fold 6 & Z Flip 6: Went into beta in March 2025; stable update in April.
Galaxy S23 Series: Beta in March 2025; stable update by April or May.
Galaxy Tab S10 Series & Galaxy A55: Beta in March 2025; stable update later.
Samsung's policy of updating its devices assures seven years of software support for flagships and four years for mid-rangers, so further models might be updated in the future.
