Roxanne Perez is one of the biggest projects of WWE right now who is having an excellent run in the NXT for the last three years. NXT is the developmental territory of WWE. She was one of the top stars of the women's division of the NXT and she has also been a two times NXT Women's Champion.
Recently her second NXT Women's Championship reign was indeed by the hands of Japanese professional wrestler Giulia. It looks like she is not going to continue her NXT tenure anymore as the promotion is potentially planning to move her to the main roster. Previously it was rumoured that she may start her main roster campaign by entering the women's Royal Rumble match at the upcoming Royal Rumble event.
Roxanne Perez Discusses Her Adversities With This Multi Times Former Women's Champion
But Perez made her main roster debut earlier when she appeared on the crowd in the main roster show the Smackdown and RAW and she even confronted the former four times WWE Women's champion Bayley. Recently, she appeared on "Busted Open After Dark" where she discussed her adversities with "The Role Model." Here is what she had to say;
Roxanne Perez is a two times NXT Women's Champion
"I'm sure everybody's seen the pictures, everyone knows I used to be a huge Bayley fan," Perez admitted. "She's the reason why I wanted to come to 'NXT.' She paved the way for both of us [her and Cora Jade]. Now, I feel like I'm trying to pave my own way, and for some reason, she had to come out the other week and interrupt me and give me some sort of advice that I didn't really ask for."
Roxanne Perez recently confronted Bayley in the main roster
"I just feel like she's had her time. It's our time. So, why is she trying to come out and steal the spotlight? I don't understand," added the former two times NXT Women's Champion.
There are strong reports that WWE is internally considering a huge match between Roxanne Perez and Bayley at WrestleMania 41. It is pretty much confirmed that Perez is destined for something really big and having a feud with one of the best in the business instantly after joining the main roster would be a huge boost for her main roster beginning.
