Bray Wyatt’s death still remains one of the most heart breaking and biggest loses in WWE history. He had been promoted as a top star as soon as he was given this dark character, he had been seen as a future top star. He had also been a three times WWE World Champion despite having a short career.
His character went through multiple ups and downs. The first character he played was The Eater of the Worlds with The Wyatt Family by his side. The Fiend was the second character he played and was definitely his best character. However, his third character where he was seen battling with himself was quite lackluster and it ultimately failed.
Revealed! Bray Wyatt’s Cancelled Pitch on Whom He Wanted to See as Sister Abigail
One of his signature call was Sister Abigail whom the fans never to see but only heard the name. There had always been on if Sister Abigail was a real character or it was just an imaginary name which will only surface through the minds of the fans and Wyatt himself. There was also a common question if Sister Abigail is a real person, who would play the role.
Bray Wyatt is a 3 Times Former WWE World Champion
It has finally been revealed that Wyatt himself had an idea on who could play the role of Sister Abigail. Former WWE star Ariel who is now known as Shelly Martinez recently revealed that Wyatt viewed her as Sister Abigail. Speaking with the Ring the Belle podcast recently, the ECW veteran revealed;
Bray Wyatt Passed Away in 2023
“I was so intrigued by Bray Wyatt, of course. I can’t even remember what year it was. Maybe 2014, 15. And I’m not here to do whatever, This is what he told me. He was like, ‘you know they’ve thrown your name around about being Sister Abigail.’ He’s like, ‘I’m a big fan of what you and Kevin used to do.’ And he started marking out for me. And I was like, you’re marking out for me. And so I was like, whoa, that’s crazy,”
Shelly Martinez went by the name of Ariel in 2006 and 2007 in WWE when the promotion restarted ECW as a third brand. Ariel used to accompany Kevin Thorn in WWE, and also used to appear in the ring. Ariel or Shelly Martinez playing the role of Sister Abigail would have definitely been an excellent choice.
