The Premier League Rac of Pep Guardiola struck again as Nuno Santos’s Nottingham won over Manchester City at home with a 1-0 scoreline in a hard-fought match.
Nottingham Forest Stopped Manchester City From Acquiring Third Position With A Late Winner By Hudson Odoi
Nottingham Dropped Points in their last three games, which consisted of one draw and two losses, which gave City an edge to climb up to the third position, beating Santos’s team on Saturday. Despite having many chances, City boys failed to score a goal that forced them to remain in fourth place with four point gap.

City’s Attacking Inaccurcy Cost 3 points for Pep
Pep Guardiola kept majority of possession of the ball and attacked multiple times towards the Nottingham goal and took 15 shots, but there was a lack of precision in the attack that made the Nottingham goalkeeper work only for 3 shots of the 15.

A bad day for Foden and the midfield of City as they failed to carry the ball to the final third and spent the majority of the time playing sideways to the wings that Nottingham Forest defenders stopped smoothly. It was a busy day for the defenders, and Nuno Santos might be satisfied with their dedication.
Hudson Odoi Becomes the Hero With a Late Winner for Nottingham Forest
Nottingham got several chances, of which three were lethal, one converted into a goal, one saved by Ederson, and one hit the post that was almost a goal for the home team. However, just after hitting the post, Hudson Odoi scored the winner in the 83rd minute from a tight angle, beating Ederson in the near post.

This goal became the decider and secured third position for Forest, who are playing phenomenally well in this season. City now has 47 points with Nottingham Forest, Arsenal, and Liverpool on top with 51, 54, and 70 points, respectively.
