This Saturday WWE is coming back with another Saturday Night's Main Event Show in the old school way and once again the show is going to get a PLE status. Multiple big matches are announced for the show including the Women's World Championship match where Rhea Ripley will be defending her title against "The Irresistible" Nia Jax.
Jax had an amazing run with the WWE Women's Championship in 2024. She also won the Queen of the Ring tournament last year. At the SummerSlam event last year, she defeated Bayley to win the Women's Championship. She had been a very dominant champion for the rest of the year as she managed to retain her title over everyone who challenged her.
Nia Jax Discusses Being a Part of Saturday Night's Main Event
But ultimately her own partner Tiffany Stratton who had the Money in the Bank contract betrayed her on the first episode of Smackdown of 2025 and took the title away from her. Soon after she dropped the title she was traded to Monday Night RAW and she was instantly given a Women's World title shot at Saturday Night's Main Event. Jax was recently interviewed by Screenrant where she expressed her happiness about featuring on the mentioned event;
Nia Jax dropped the WWE Women's title to Tiffany Straton on the first Smackdown of 2025
“It’s a beautiful history. WWE is so good at keeping our history and our culture so strong. I come from a wrestling family, and I’ve seen my family throughout the years, the decades, on all these historic shows. Being a part of Saturday Night’s Main Event is going to be a cool thing on its own, but competing for this women’s World Heavyweight Championship is huge because I haven’t held that title.
Nia Jax will face Rhea Ripley for the Women's World Championship at Saturday Night's Main Event
"That’s something that I want in my accolades. That’s something I want when I look back in my history to say that, ‘Okay, I got that as one as well.’ Rhea thinks that she’s at the top of the pyramid for the women’s division, but I have a little bit of a rude awakening for her, because last year was my year, and I’m continuing it this year. I’m coming for that title. I don’t care what gets in my way.”

There is a very low chance that Jax would snatch the title away from Rhea Ripley at Saturday Night's Main Event and it does not look like she would be able to feature on any World championship match at WrestleMania 41. But all we can hope for is a great match World Championship between Rhea Ripley and Nia Jax at Saturday Night's Main Event.
