The Winger faced a muscular injury while playing for his boyhood club, Santos, against Bragantino on March 2. Speculation emerged regarding his return to NT, and on Friday, the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) confirmed the exclusion of Neymer and inclusion of the teenager Endrick.

Along with Neymer, the names of Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson and Flamingo right-back Danilo have been replaced by Lyon goalkeeper Lucas Perri and Flamengo defender Alex Sandro, respectively.
Neymer Seems The Incident Unfortunate
Neymer expressed his disappointment, saying, “The return seemed so close, but unfortunately I won't be able to wear the most important jersey in the world for the moment”
“We had long conversations and everyone knows of my desire to return, but we agreed that it's best not to take any risks and prepare as best as possible to completely eradicate the injury,” the Brazilian added.
Brazil will play its first match against Columbia on 20th March and face Argentina 5 days after the game. The Santos winger has to watch the games from the gallery and wait for more to return to the national team.
