The unveiling of iPhone 15 by Apple has made waves in the tech circle. The Cupertino-based company is now basking in the glory of the new line-up though it has faced flak for some teething troubles such as unexpected device overheating! Even before the mass excitement over the newly unveiled iPhone 15 series can calm down, new leaks have surfaced online hinting at major changes in the successor, namely iPhone 16 series. As per the leaks, the 16th incarnation of iPhone will get a 120 Hz refresh rate on the entry-level variant.
While the release date is quite far but it is likely the iPhone 16 series will be unveiled in late 2024. The iPhone 16 Pro may get a 6.3-inch screen while the top-end variant Pro Max may get a humongous 6.9-inch display. However, iPhone 16 and the Plus variant may retain existing display sizes.
Some more changes may seep in the iPhone 16 line-up, including a better battery and a new "tetra-prism" telephoto camera. However, the enhanced imaging tech will reportedly be kept exclusively for Pro and Pro Max versions. This technology will help improve the optical zoom range. The next iPhone line-up may also come with enhanced hardware inside. The top-end models may sport next-gen Apple A 18 Pro SoC. All these are however now at the stage of speculation.
