This year, Motorola is having a gala time with new models being launched almost on a monthly basis. The Lenovo-owned technology giant made headlines by releasing its updated foldable phones earlier. Now, the images and specs of its upcoming Edge 40 Neo model have been found. This will be launched as the successor to Edge 30 Neo, unveiled last year. The upcoming 5G device is going to be an upper-mid-range Android phone with impressive features and a stylish build.

The Edge 40 Neo will most likely feature a pOLED screen and it will be a 6.55-inch FHD+ display. The refresh rate is expected to be 144Hz, which will entice gamers. It will have a mid-range MediaTek Dimensity 1050 SoC with a generous 12GB of RAM. Inbuilt storage will be 256 GB and at the back, there will be a dual camera system with OIS. It will reportedly feature an IP 68 rating for great dust and water resistance.

So far, the online leaks indicate the upcoming Edge 40 Neo will be unveiled in 3 hues- Caneel Bay, Black Beauty, and Soothing Sea. The Black Beauty will have a glass back while other 2 color variants will get a vegan leather back. Its FCC certification reveals a 5000mAh battery inside with support for fast charging at 68 watts. The exact release date is unknown, but it is likely to be sometime in September. The price can be around $430.
