Mickie James; a professional wrestling legend is not associated with any big wrestling promotions right now. She is presently active in Ohio Valley Wrestling OVW as the Creative Director, the Head of Female Talent, and also the Executive Producer of OVW's wrestling shows. She has previously worked in major wrestling promotions like WWE and TNA Wrestling.
James earned her early fame in WWE and she had been a six times Champion in the promotion. Her feud with Trish Stratus which headed towards WrestleMania 22 is often considered one of the best women’s storylines in WWE history. She was one of the biggest attractions of WWE during her time in the promotion.

James has also worked in TNA Wrestling where she had been promoted as a top star as well. She had been a five times Knockouts Champion of TNA Wrestling and she is considered one of the most influential names in the TNA locker room. James recently appeared on the “Going Ringside” podcast where she expressed her desire to have matches with these legends;

“If I could coach one legend… Wow. Oh my gosh. I would say, I would have loved to… Sensational Sherri, as far as women go, was my all-time favorite. Her and ‘Macho Man’ Randy Savage, as far as men go.” Said the professional wrestling legend.

James continued, “If I could have sat underneath their learning tree, if I could have just been in the same space and time to have shared any sort of moment of wrestling with them, I would have…I would have lost my mind. I think I would have, I would have been a complete fangirl. It would have been embarrassing, but it’s fine. I would have been okay with it.”

Unfortunately, Mickie James’ desire to face these legends will never come true since both of these wrestlers have passed away. Both Sherri Martel and Randy Savage are WWE Hall of Fame inductees. These matches may not be possible to witness in real life, but the fans can simulate them in the WWE video games.
