Mickie James is one of the biggest pillars of the women’s revolution of WWE and she was also a huge attraction of the promotion. She has been a six times champion in WWE and she is also one of the most respected women in the WWE locker room. Her storyline with Trish Stratus from 2005-2006 is widely considered one of the best storylines in the women’s division of WWE.
But did she come back to WWE? It is known to all that James left WWE four years ago and she has been out of the promotion since. She, however, made a shocking appearance during the women’s Royal Rumble match of 2022 but it was as the TNA Knockouts Champion and she was not signed with WWE at that time.

Mickie James is Really Happy To Be Back in WWE; “It’s Been Really Amazing”
But it is true, she actually making a sensational return to WWE soon, only to be a part of the reality television series named WWE LFG. LFG stands for Legends and Future Greats. She will be treated as a legend in this reality television series. Recently, James spoke with the “Going Ringside” podcast where she expressed her happiness of returning to WWE through this show. She said;
Mickie James is a six times Champion in WWE
“It’s been really amazing. Amazing to come out and come back for something that’s so unique. Obviously, the premiere of this show, first time ever with A&E. Then to be called still it’s weird for me when I.. oh legend! I’m like, it’s weird to me, especially when I’m sitting alongside people who I’ve considered mentors and I look up to so much and admire, Bubba Ray, Booker T who’s had tons of success and wrestling along with training other talents to go on and have their own success.

Mickie James was the first TNA/Impact Wrestler to appear in WWE as a TNA/Impact star
“But then The Undertaker who in my first run with WWE was still very active on the roster and still very much the judge, the jury, the executioner when it came to the locker room and the person who you wanted to respect you the most, I suppose. Then obviously Shawn Michaels, who I have always admired and looked up to and tried to emulate in so many ways as at least a female, to be that great.”
Mickie James left TNA Wrestling back in 2023 and since then she never worked in any major wrestling promotions. In 2024, she signed a contract with Ohio Valley Wrestling aka OVW as the Creative Director, the Head of Female Talent and Executive Producer of OVW's wrestling shows.
