Michin had been one of the most consistent names of the women’s division of WWE. Ever since returning to the promotion, she had been booked regularly, however, she was mostly pushed as a mid card in the promotion.
She recently participated in the WWE Women’s United States Championship tournament where she reached the finals, bit ultimately, she lost to Chelsea Green. A lot of fans were unhappy with her defeat, but she remains a strong candidate to win the WWE Women’s US Championship soon.

But it cannot be denied that Michin Mia Yim had been really excellent since her return to the promotion, and she also received consistent bookings. Recently, the 35 year old spoke with The Metro where she expressed her gratitude towards the WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H for trusting her being a “protective father figure.” She said;
“I can honestly say that I truly feel like Hunter really believes in me. He’s been giving me more and more opportunities—not just to show what I can do in the ring, but also on the mic.”

“Going down to NXT and helping the girls there has been amazing. I feel like me. I don’t have to pretend to be something I’m not.” Michin added, before saying, “I don’t have to play a character. I can just be my silly self, wrestling my little ass off.”
“Hunter, Triple H, in NXT he felt like a protective father figure, ‘It was like, “Oh, well, I know how Hunter has treated us at NXT, and seeing all my friends come back and knowing that he has more control, I feel comfortable and I can fully trust him to not fumble [me].”

“It may take a month, it may take three months, but it always happens how he explains it. So I have never had a reason to doubt his word.”
“I know that if any direction or idea has come about and is presented to me that it could literally start next week, it could start next month, or could start next year, but I know that at least it’s gonna happen.”
Despite losing in the final of the WWE United States Championship tournament, she still remains a very strong name in the women’s division of Smackdown. Fans can definitely expect her receive more consistent bookings in the future, and also, she can be seen winning championships in WWE soon.
