Meta faces a set back after it's AI system was mishandled for it's own loopholes. What exactly happened? The Meta AI was used to fake celebrity voices particularly targetting the minor age group people and engaging them in sexual conversations.
For the competition, the company is facing from other AI brands like Google and OpenAI, it felt the necessity to upgrade it's AI features. With this intention, it cut down the necessary restrictions on it's chatbots that resulted in this underage lascivious acts.

The company failed to get it's AI to the bar set by OpenAI, Google and DeepSeek of China. In the hope that they might meet the desired expectations, the company has taken this damaging step.

Both the Meta AI chatbot and user generated chatbot are free to stage steamy role-play through text messages, selfie, and voice conversations, despite of knowing that the users are of minor age group.

The chatbots uses celebrity voices to carry on with this scandalous acts. Some celebrities whose voice are being targeted includes Kristen Bell, John Cena and Judi Dench. Their voice have been misused even after the tech company assured them that in any event their voices will be kept safe.

If the WSJ report is to be believed then it says that to cut down restrictions on the guardrails was a joint and conscious internal decision. This did have the push by the CEO Mark Zuckerberg himself.
