Presently, WWE and TNA are working together and there have been constant cross promotion appearances from both sides. TNA Wrestling is mainly working with the NXT which is the developmental territory of WWE and TNA Wrestling is being treated by WWE like a talent hunt brand, or better say, more of a secondary developmental territory beside the NXT.
One of the biggest cross promotion appearances that took place in the NXT last Tuesday was the present TNA World Tag Team Champions The Hardy Boyz who also competed in a tag team match against The No Quarter Catch Crew. They were not the only TNA stars to appear in the NXT this week, but definitely the most talked about.

The NXT fans were overly delighted to see the appearance of The Hardy Boyz in their favorite WWE brand. More WWE appearances from the world famous tag team can definitely be expected. Recently, Matt Hardy expressed his happiness about this return and also revealed that it was a last minute call. Speaking on his “The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy” podcast, Matt Hardy said;
“This was a very last-minute thing, I think. It’s very cool because everyone knows that TNA and NXT have this partnership right now, TNA and WWE. I think it’s gonna continue to expand a little bit, but it has been so beneficial to TNA. It has also been very beneficial to NXT.

“And I feel like just over the last little bit, probably after Fraxiom showed up and they watched us defend the titles against The Rascalz, I would imagine probably the wheels started turning, from the powers that be. And once again, I don’t know all the details on all these things. I’m still talent, brother.

“Washing my hands of that. I’m not booking, I’m talent. But I think there was some interest there… So the fact that we are able to step out and get in the ring with other teams and kind of give them a little bit of our rub that we have. And they kind of help us because they’re younger teams and they kind of keep us relevant in 2025, it’s a win-win. So [I’m] really excited about this.” concluded Matt Hardy.
The cross promotion partnership between these promotions was signed earlier this year, and since this is a multi year partnership deal, we can expect many cross promotion appearances, and maybe, the biggest names in wrestling like John Cena and Roman Reigns also appear in TNA Wrestling one day, which would definitely boost up the ratings and viewership of the promotion.
