Apple launched the MacBook Air this month with lots of new features and facilities with a sleek and stylish model. Pre-orders begin in India, and the sales will start soon.
Display and processor of MacBook Air
This version of MacBook comes in two sizes 13-inch and 15-inch variants. The 13-inch Display offers 2,560×1,664 pixels, and the 15-inch offers 2,880×1,864 pixels, featuring a pixel density of 224 ppi and a peak brightness of 500 nits. An enhanced external display is present in the device with support for up to two 6K resolution monitors when the laptop is open.
The MacBook Air is powered by Apple's M4 chip with a 10-core CPU with four performance cores and four efficiency cores alongside an 8-core GPU with hardware-accelerated ray tracing. It gives support up to 32 GB of unified memory, making this version 2X faster than the previous one. A 16-core Neural Engine is present in the laptop, optimized for AI-powered performance and task efficiency.
Specification and features
Macbook Air has a 12MP Center Stage camera with an enhanced quality that the previous edition was suitable for school or work along with home usage that offers a 1080p facetime with desk view.

Device RAM is expandable up to 24GB, and storage is expandable up to 2 TB, which will offer a powerful performance without compromising on storage options or depending on external storage for the majority of the time. A Quad speaker system and three microphone arrays are present in the device with spatial audio to enhance the listening experience of users.
Battery and price
The 13-inch model has a battery powered by 53.8Wh that supports 70W fast charging, and the 15-inch model has a better battery capacity of 55.5Wh, providing more playback time. The 13-inch device has 18 hours of video playback capacity and 15 hours of web browsing, as per Apple, which can give a long-lasting entertainment experience.

The Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, MagSafe 3 charging port, two Thunderbolt 4/USB 4 ports, and a 3.5mm headphone jack are available in terms of connectivity. A Touch ID fingerprint scanner and a Force Touch trackpad with Multi-Touch gesture support is available in the MacBook that will be available from 12th March.
