Ludwig Kaiser was introduced to the main roster audience mainly as a sidekick of the present World Heavyweight Champion Gunther. The Ring General had a faction around him when he started his main roster career as well as his NXT career. The faction was famously known as Imperium. Kaiser was a part of this faction from its very early days.
In early 2024, Kaiser started working as a singles wrestler and he achieved great success. At first, Giovanni Vinci was dropped from Imperium but Kaiser kept on working as the side kick of Gunther. But after ‘The Ring General’ dropped the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania XL, both of them started working on separated paths.

Gunther went on to win the King of The Ring tournament and the World Heavyweight Championship in 2024, Kaiser did not get to win any championship yet despite having a great mid card run throughout 2024. But where did his singles run exactly begin? Recently, The German professional wrestler spoke with The “Insight” podcast where he stated the facts;

“Giovanni Vinci was hurt a couple of weeks back [before his singles match]. The thing with the dropkick to the head and all of a sudden, he was out. Yeah, the way this business works, right? All of a sudden, you’re in that spot, and you get that chance that you haven’t really gotten before. So I was told very, very firmly, very directly what they wanted to see that night.”

Kaiser continued; “I think it was a little bit of a test as well because they wanted a side that they haven’t seen from Ludwig Kaiser so far. a side that comes very naturally to me that I love to show, but it was never time. It was just never that spot to really do that. And as soon as I did it the first night, it worked.”
Ludwig Kaiser first came in highlights when he brutally attacked and beat down Kofi Kingston when he had a feud with The New Day. He recently had an impressive feud with ‘The Celtic Warrior’ Sheamus but he lost most of the matches against The Irish professional wrestler. Kaiser is still pretty young and hopefully, he has an excellent future lying ahead of him.
