The scoreline made Nottingham remain in the second position with 41 points playing one more game than Liverpool. Whereas the Reds have 47 points in 20 matches. The draw could have given an edge to Manchester City but Pep failed to capitalize on the scope with a draw.

Slot's statement reflects the disappointment of the Reds for the result
In the press conference, Nottingham Forest boss Nuno Espirito said, “We knew in the second half that they would react. Overall I'm proud of the way we worked. The running and desire of the players was incredible.” On the other hand, Slot stated, “With how the game went, I think we can be disappointed. They are a counter-attacking team and I think we only conceded one counter-attack - and for us to come from behind shows the character and quality the team has ”.
