Lava Prowatch X is the new budget smartwatch that offers essential sensors like heart rate and SpO₂ monitors, GPS, health tracking, and additional features like AQI monitoring.
Lava Prowatch X Display and Design
Lava Prowatch X features a 1.43-inch 30 Hz AMOLED display with higher legibility in bright outdoors. However, the absence of an auto brightness facility might make it difficult to adjust brightness indoors and outdoors. The screen comes with Corning's Gorilla Glass 3 IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.
It has a circular display with curved glass and comes with two buttons on the right side for the home screen and launching exercise panel. Three strap options are available, including Silicone, Nylon, and Metal.
Functionality and Software
All basic sensors, such as a heart rate monitor, SpO₂ monitor, Body energy meter, and even VO₂ Max tracking, are available in the device with built-in GPS support. Prowatch offers a unique Air Quality Index (AQI) monitoring for sensing the atmosphere before traveling.
Lava UI is the working software in the watch, providing a decent support for basic usage. The Prespot app is connected with the watch for easy tracking of health metrics, including steps taken per day or heart rate.
