LA Knight is often regarded as ‘The Megastar’ of WWE and he has done a tremendous in the last couple of years. When he was brought into the main roster for the first time in 2022, Vince McMahon did not even consider him a wrestler and gave him the gimmick of Max Dupri; a player manager and not a wrestler.

After Triple H became in charge of WWE creative; he brought his LA Knight character back but neither did he consider him as a top star, but mostly a lower mid card. Despite weak bookings; Knight got extremely over with the fans and earned his spot to be an upper mid card. He is still pretty much over with the fans.

LA Knight Discusses His Relationships With These Legends of WWE and How Much He Respects Them

Knight had a short run in WWE more than a decade ago but he could get any recognition from the fans during that time. He got in touch with many WWE legends and during a recent appearance on "Casual Conversations with The Classic," Knight discussed some of his previous relationships. Here is what he had to say about late great WWE Hall of Famer Paul Bearer;

LA Knight has been active on the main roster since 2022

"[He's] just a great dude, always having fun, just messing with people all the time," said The Megastar. "He always had goofy little nicknames for people and stuff like that. I know I've told a hundred people this story, but [when] other guys are doing promos, we do these pre-tape promos during the day before we got the show started, and he's over here showing his ass to people just trying to get them to break while they're in the middle of talking to the camera. He was always very easy to go to and like a real friend."

LA Knight is a former WWE United States Champion

He also talked about his relationship with ‘The Final Boss’ The Rock; "We haven't spoken extensively or anything, but there was one time where he saw me backstage and he came by and just said 'Hey, what's up? Haven't seen you in a while,'" Knight remembered, "just kind of cordial hellos and how have you beens."

LA Knight is presently active on Friday Night Smackdown of WWE and he is doing a great job. He won the WWE United States Championship by defeating Logan Paul at Summerslam last year. He may not ever be promoted as a main eventer but we can surely expect him to maintain his upper mid card status and hopefully, he gets to win some more titles in WWE in the near future.
