Kevin Nash had been one of the biggest names in the wrestling world throughout the 90s. He earned his early recognition in WWE when he played the character of Diesel. During his early days in the promotion, he worked as the Bodyguard of Shawn Michaels but later, he started working as a solo star and earned massive success.
He won the WWE World Championship in late 1994 and had a year long World title reign. In early 1996, he left WWE to join WCW which had been the biggest competition of WWE back then. He also dropped the Diesel character as soon as he left WWE. He started playing the character of Kevin Nash in WCW which made him even more famous.

WCW treated Nash as a top star as he had been a four times WCW World Heavyweight Champion. He was one of the founding members of the nWo faction which still remained one of the best factions in wrestling history. Recently, Nash claimed Hulk Hogan; the original leader of nWo was one of the best workers in wrestling history. Speaking on his “Kliq This” podcast, he explained;

“I appreciate the athleticism [of wrestlers today]. But when I watch somebody come down there and throw punches before they send the guy off and do the athleticism?” said the former four times WCW World Heavyweight Champion.

Nash continued, “But work-rate doesn’t mean f**king doing a bunch of moves. Work-rate means telling a story – one of the best workers of all time was Hogan … You watch him against The Rock in Toronto, and I mean, you know that’s working! That’s the work. The work isn’t whether or not you can do a f**king, like, land a Moonsault. That tells me that you f**king either spent time on a trampoline.”
Recently, John Cena shocked the entire world by turning heel, and his heel turn is being compared to the surprising heel turn of Hulk Hogan from 1996. Hogan was the face of WWE throughout the 80s and early 90s and he was the most loveable babyface of that time. His heel turn was equally shocking to Cena’s heel turn that took place at Elimination Chamber.
