One of the biggest names of the mid card division of the early Attitude Era of WWE was Ken Shamrock who had also been a famous MMA star before joining WWE in 1997. Vince McMahon wanted to push him as a main event star and wanted to push him in the old school style; starting from the mid card to the main events.
He was introduced among the WWE fans at WrestleMania 13 when he played the role of the special guest referee during the historic Submission match between Stone Cold Steve Austin and “The Hitman” Bret Hart. Soon, he started working as a wrestler in WWE and as already said, he was destined to be a top star in the future.

He had been a former WWE Intercontinental Champion and he even won the King of The Ring tournament of 1998 and King of The Ring had always been presented to promote the next big star. Ken Shamrock is a former WWE Intercontinental Champion
But something did not go very well for the former MMA star as WWE decided to release him in late 1999. He tried different other promotions like TNA Wrestling where he even won the NWA World Heavyweight Championship but nothing worked for him. Last year, he signed a legend’s contract with WWE and we can expect him to get inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame soon.
Shamrock recently spoke with Makthavare.se where he revealed whom he wanted him indict him into the WWE Hall of Fame. Here is what the former WWE Intercontinental Champion had to say;

Ken Shamrock won the WWE King of The Ring 1998
“I have no idea why I’m not in the WWE Hall of Fame, but it’s something that I don’t think about or worry about,” Shamrock said. “I think if it does happen, then great and if it doesn’t then it would be sad, but I won’t hold it against anyone. I’d love it to happen, but it’s not my call.”
“I think The Undertaker was always someone who supported me. I know he gave me an opportunity to work a match with him. He was an icon, big time. He broke character, actually made a scene when I arm barred him, so I know what he did, that was big. So someone like him, for sure,” said the WWE King of The Ring 1998 Ken Shamrock.
