WWE Royal Rumble 2025 will be remembered for hosting the most predictable Royal Rumble in history along with one of the most shocking Royal Rumbles as well. Charlotte Flair winning the women's Royal Rumble match was definitely quite predictable but nobody expected Jey Uso to win the men's Royal Rumble match.
There were multiple rumors that John Cena or CM Punk had been pitched to win the men's Royal Rumble match. When the final battle came down to John Cena and Jey, the fans were pretty much sure that Cena would be triumphing in the Royal Rumble as he remained the odds on favourite. But surprisingly the Tag Team specialist shocked the entire world by winning the Royal Rumble match.

It is now pretty much clear that Jey will challenge Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 41 as he has already called for vengeance on the previous episode of Monday Night RAW. Jey's father Rikishi who is a WWE legend recently talked about his son's epic win last Saturday. On a recent episode of his “Off The Top” podcast, he shared his views on the shocking outcome of the men's Rumble match last Saturday;

You can tell my voice is just kind of hoarse from telling, screaming, having a few cocktails. The family, we’ve been celebrating. It’s been great, man. I want to say thank you all the fans, thank you to all my family, my personal friends, those that got my contact, my number.

Jey Uso's Royal Rumble victory split the WWE fans into two sides. One side is totally behind him on this victory but the other side is extremely dissatisfied with this shocker. They do not want to accept Jey as a main eventer at all and after all the defeats he faced at the hands of Gunther, it would be really difficult to see another match between the two at WrestleMania 41, and that is also without any proper build up previously.
