"Main Event" Jey Uso finally earned his main event status after he won the men's Royal Rumble match of 2025 on the first of February and earned the opportunity to face a world champion of his choice in the main event of WrestleMania 41. His Royal Rumble win is already considered to be the most shocking Royal Rumble outcome in WWE history.
Previously there were reports that John Cena or CM Punk were pitched as the potential Royal Rumble winners. These two were also the odds on favorite. Nobody expected Jey to win the Royal Rumble match. Overall it received mixed reactions from the fans; some fans are really happy with this shocking outcome while some fans still believe he is nothing more than a mid card.
Jey Uso Wants This Wrestler To Win The Men's Elimination Chamber Match
Jey has already secured his spot at WrestleMania 41 but there is still one spot left and much like the previous years, the vacant spot will be filled via Elimination Chamber. Three of the six wrestlers that will compete inside the Chamber have already been decided. Jey Uso recently spoke on "Nightcap" where he explained why he wanted to see John Cena win the Elimination Chamber. Here is what he had to say;

"That [Elimination Chamber] is his last chance to kind of main event WrestleMania, and we're in Toronto, Canada. I hope he gets it, man," said Jey; who won the men's Royal Rumble match of 2025 by last eliminating John Cena who had been a former two times Royal Rumble winner.

He also revealed what Cena said regarding his historic Royal Rumble win; "He said, 'Hey, man,' he hugged me, he goes, 'Hey, Uce, I remember your first tour, I said, I always told you and your brother, you guys will be fine. Be yourself.' And he goes, 'Look at these people now.' That's when he turned me to the crowd and, you know, they just [Yeeting],'" he said. "Yeah, man, love, love for John Cena. He's a GOAT."
Last Monday on RAW, Jey Uso announced that he would challenge Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 41 after he got attacked by the Ring General. This is not the first time these two wrestlers are going head to head but this is definitely going to be the biggest of them all. Jey is heavily rumored to beat Gunther at WrestleMania 41.
