Through the last number of days, WWE released a total of 11 stars. Some of the released names were quite shocking and some were even former champions. A number of questions are being raised on Triple H's booking abilities as some of these released stars were brought into WWE by Triple H but they were hardly used.

The Good Brothers, for example, had absolutely no purpose of working in WWE apart from working as the side kicks of AJ Styles. The same can be said about the Authors of Pain who had zero purpose of working in WWE rather than working as the sidekicks of Karrion Kross. Some future top stars who had high potential were also shown the door.

JBL is "Sorry" For All The Wrestlers Who Got Released From WWE Recently

The release of Blair Davenport was the most shocking of them all. She was totally underutilized in the main roster; better say, she was not even utilized. WWE Hall of Famer JBL has his own views on this topic as he talked about all the releases and felt sorry for the stars who got released. Speaking on the “Something To Wrestle” podcast, he said;

JBL is a former WWE World Champion

“I texted with The Good Brothers last night, according to when this show’s being taped. I text those guys all the time. Love those boys, man. Two good dudes and two good workers? They’re going to be fine. I know they know they’re going to be fine. There’s so no sense in saying, ‘Hey, you guys are going to be fine.’

"They know that. You know, I just texted them, telling them I love them and can’t wait to see what they’re doing next, and that, to me, is the key. You can do one of two things when you get released.

"I feel sorry for anybody, by the way, who’s lost a job. I’ve done it. I’ve had it happen to me many times for 30 or 40-plus years, from football and wrestling to everything else. Believe me, I’ve been fired, released. I would never dream of making light of it or do anything except my sympathies, and I’m sorry that it happened to you. But this is an opportunity, and you have two choices here.” concluded JBL.

The release of Sonya Deville also raised many eyebrows. She was not much over with the fans, she did not have much reactions either but, she did a decent job whenever she got the opportunity. Isla Dawn was also doing pretty nice as a tag team wrestler as she had also been a former Tag Team champion. Once again the booking abilities of Triple H are under question whether he can manage a full roster. Hopefully, things improve more in the future.
